It wasn't too long ago I came across a crazy ass Marine (on leave of course) that informed me that Al-Qaeda is an organization interested mainly in protecting the interests of their homeland.
Maybe there is a sort of bias here in the West, but it would strike me as kind of odd as to say that terrorist organizations such al-Qaeda are interested in their homeland interests alone. Clearly throwing acid in the faces of children and stoning women to death are not the acts of individuals genuinely interested in their own wellbeing and nothing more.
Yet it also puzzles me as to how CBS or 60 Minutes or any of these journalism channels and broadcasts can get away with interviewing these psychos without a scratch on them. Can't al-Qaeda figure out that allot of the information gathered from television interviews comes straight back at us?
This video is just one example of what confuses me as to why we aren't tracking down these people:

The question being asked is, where do you think bin Laden is?
"Even if I knew, I would never tell you."
So he hasn't done anything violent or called for the genocide of every American worldwide. Yet. I just hope we are keeping this guy under close watch. I smell something brewing with serious potential here...
