NASS starts tomorrow!!

YUP:thumb:
only thing i don't know is what we should wear tomorrow? athletic stuff, formal? if anyone know plez help

I would error on the side of dressier as opposed to athletic, since this is the first look that the Naval Academy has of you, and putting your best foot forward clothing wise can never hurt you. :)

Also super excited for Session 1 tomorrow! What time does your flight get in Maverick?

From personal experience, I would recommend a polo and a pair of shorts (not too dressy but not a poor first impression either). That being said, once you say good bye to mom and dad or whoever has dropped you off (perhaps nobody if you flew in) you will be shuttled into Bancroft and told to change into the clothes that have been issued to you (depending upon the time probably the athletic gear so that you can go participate in some ice breaking athletics with other NASSers).

Have fun and best of luck to you all

I'm so excited!!

Session 1 of the Naval Academy Summer Seminar begins tomorrow!!! Who's excited??

Yeah, so I'm from Jacksonville Florida &my family decided they wanted to go on a road trip.. LOL! So here I am in Springfield Virginia visiting family! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT !! As for what I'm wearing, a friend of mine who's currently attending the academy recommends you wearing something conservative &comfortable. Don't show up in athletic shorts, or low cut tops like many will ! My friend says jeans, a blouse &flats are fine. You just want to set the right first impression!
SEE YOU ALL FIRST SESSIONERS SOON! :)

Have fun at NASS! Whatever you wear tomorrow, tuck your shirt in. If it isn't tucked before you arrive, it will be within one minute after you sign in!

Thanks for the dressing tips, to the camera question, yes by all means, and to gonavy11 about 1045

to all those heading to NASS tomorrow, have the time of your lives.....my son was there last year and knew for absolute certainty that the USNA was the place for him.......we are so blessed that he was offerred an "Appointment to the Class of 2014".......
