Senator Arlen Specter has an online application on his website, but his online forms are all unavailable with error messages.
His application deadline is October 2.
Has anyone here sought nomination from this Senator in the past that can enlighten me?

I received a nomination from Senator Specter but did not experience this problem. If you look on the website, the application due in 2010 is not up yet. The due date still says Oct 2, 2009. You will have to a wait a little bit longer. Any questions, PM me.

Oh, I didn't notice the date; I assumed it was 2010 without taking a good look as Casey's was already open.
Thanks.

Arlen Specter

I am not sure how a situation works like this, but am experiencing the same issues. I know Senator Specter did not win his bid for the democratic nomination, so he is finished in January. I am not sure when the deadling is that Senators have to have their noms in. It varies State to State, but I would call the number on his constituent services dropdown.
I will let you know if I get an answer in the coming days.

Their slate must be in before January. Don't worry if your rep was not reelected. They are still in office for your nomination timeline. Submit the forms as usual.

What's said above is true. The current Senator or Rep will be the one to make the noms for next year's class.

However, some have found that MOCs who know they won't be re-elected lose enthusiasm, so to speak, for SA noms. If that happens, not much you can do about it other than persevere.
