Have any 2015 Air Force Academy applicants been able to go online and provide information to complete the application? The webpage says that the applications opened up on March 31st. My son went to ss and so completed the pre-candidate application for that. He did not fill out other application online bc we were under the impression that the pre-candidate for ss would serve as that application. He received a Dodmerb information request in the mail on June 19th, but has not received any directions on how to go online to provide teacher emails, etc to complete the application for the Air Force Academy. Naval Academy forms were available to complete online around April.
Also, if a person applies to more than one academy, will each academy request Dodmerb appointments?

I think I read somewhere that the "full" application will not be available until July 1st. Until then we all have preliminary applications.

DoDMERB shares the results of your son's physical exam with any of the SAs and ROTC programs that need his exam. If you access the DodMERB site you can see which organizations have currently requested results.

On the AFA admissions website it says the candidate kit will be mailed in August. My son went to ss and said that's what they told him. So I think you just wait for the mail in August. On the Dodmerb, when you log in it shows all the academies that have started a file on you, so it seems once you complete the Dodmerb process, that will be sent to any academy you apply to. I also read somewhere that ROTC doesn't request Dodmerb results until a scholarship is actually offered, but I don't have anything that verifies that.

The Admissions person who talked to us at Summer Seminar said sometime in July I believe. For some reason the 12th sticks in my mind...

I can confirm that is the way it worked last year for all three ROTC programs. No DoDMERB record until you were actually awarded a scholarship.

Found under "How to apply" "Timeline"

"Starting in August, Candidate Kit instructions are mailed to qualified candidates from whom the pre-candidate questionnaires have been received, screened and approved."

I suppose different ss sessions may have received different information if it was a different person giving the information. Still it seems you just wait for the mail.

At Summer Seminar Session 3 they said those who are designated candidates will be able to work on the full application on July 9th.:thumb:
