Questions about adding information to the CAR?

I was wondering if I should include information about athletic classes I took in the 'Athletics' section of the Candidate Activities Record. I took racquetball and weight lifting classes sophomore and junior year, so should I mention that in the remarks box of the Athletics section? It's obviously not the same as being part of the team, so that's why I'm wondering if it should be mentioned.

Also, the CAR has a section about employment but it says "* Worked school Days for entire school Year: *." I did not work school days for the entire school year, but I did work the past 3 summers. Where can I mention this? In the other extracurricular activities section?

Lastly, I'm going to be in ROTC for my senior year. Should I list ROTC as an activity, mention it in other activities or just try to update my information once my senior year has commenced?

Thanks for any help you can provide

I believe the remarks is only reserved for special accomplishments concerning certain sports. As for working for the past 3 summers, you should mention that in the extracurricular activities. And finally, I believe there is an option for ROTC under leadership activities.

But those are just my beliefs. USMA admissions have all the answers...give them a call.

Thanks for the help. Yeah I'm probably going to end up either emailing them or calling them, I just want to submit my information promptly. I privately messaged ScoutPilot because he seems to know the general specifications of the admissions process but he hasn't produced a response yet.

Anyone else have any input?

He usually refers people to admissions, lol. But it's kind of true. They are the answer for all questions. And in addition, they are also very prompt. For example, my Admissions Team Officer was still conversing with me through e-mail, even at 11 PM, which I found pretty astonishing.

Yeah, unfortunately whenever I email my admissions team it takes like 2 days sometimes to get an answer. That's why I posted this on here first lol. I sent them an email though so hopefully they respond quickly.

Usually their offices open at around 7:45 so if you can call the admissions officer right when their offices open, I'm sure he/she will pick up very quickly (since not that many people wake up that early).
