I have seen numbers for the separate options but nothing combined. Could someone tell me how many people get offered and appointment to the academy, an appointment to NAPS, and get an offer for foundation school.

All candidates who get offered NAPS or a foundation school are in the number that applied for USNA.

So, this year ~17,000 preliminary applications for USNA. Of that 1,233 at USNA (per Supe on I Day), ~300 at NAPS and ??? at foundation schools.

Was any of that the info you were looking for?

I know that you get into all of those places by applying to usna and when you are chosen not to be a potential candidate for usna you are automatically considered for NAPS and a foundation school. Let me clarify my question. How many applicants receive an appointment to usna + applicants that receive an appointment to NAPS + applicants the receive the foundation school thing = what im looking for.

Probably just a few (maybe a hundred or so) over 2000. Of course the 1500 + USNA offers include those to the previous years NAPS and Foundation who successfully completed those programs..

Class of 2013 Profile

This info is taken right from the USNA Website.Copied right from the press release. Make good use of this site as there is all sorts of great info...use the search option for much of what you are looking for. Best of luck.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

The Class of 2013 includes 28% percent (344) from college and post‑high school preparatory programs, which include:
242 from Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) in Newport, R.I.
64 from the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation Program (40 from preparatory schools and 24 from other colleges under Foundation sponsorship).
38 additional students have completed at least six months of study at a college or university.

So perhaps a more realitic question might be the total number of offers to all three for first-time candidates only, excluding those who come from NAPS and the Foundation. This quantity would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1800 candidates.
