Hey all,

Well I survived swab summer round 2 and am proud to say that I am now a 4/c and it feels awesome to have the shoulderboards I longed for this time last year. We're about halfway through CAP week and are getting ready to start classes on Monday! I have a pretty tough first semester but I am looking forward to the challenge. Swab Summer this year was the same but different, there were several differences in training style that I noticed between 2011 as cadre and 2012 as cadre but both were equally effective! Although I was in Charlie for swab summer, I am now in Alfa for 4/c year, despite the rumor that swabs would be staying in their swab summer companies. If anyone has any questions at all, please feel free to PM me and I will do my best to answer or find the answer to your question!

Excellent! Good for you T&F! I was hoping you'd post and let us long timers know that you made it through, safe and sound and in one piece.

Take on the year with the same determination that got you back to CGA for round two of Swab Summer and you'll surely do well.

Congratulations again!

Of course. Even-year cadre classes train even-year swab classes, resulting in their superior training traditions continuing to move forward.

Although I was in Charlie for swab summer, I am now in Alfa for 4/c year, despite the rumor that swabs would be staying in their swab summer companies.

Same rumor comes up every year. You'll also change companies once more at the beginning of your 3/c year, and remain there for the rest of the time you are there.

Congrats on getting through Swab Summer, now get ready for the hard part!
