Given 15 Days..

I received a letter saying I had 15 days to turn in my transcript, Presidential Fitness test score, SAT score (which I believed I had sent to them a while ago) and interview results. How am I supposed to do this.
I don't even start school until the 15th day after getting this notification.

Call them ... they have the answers ... or really think it through and figure it out ...

For example, here, we order transcripts on line, here counselors are at school long before classes start ...

First lesson of the Army - You must improvise.

1) Transcript - Your school's administrative offices should already be open preparing for school. You should personally deliver the transcript request form to whomever is working in the office and stress your deadline. Ask who will be handling the request and get a name and number. Follow up the next day.

2) Presidential Fitness Test - Your school's football team should already be hard at work. Show up to practice, find the coach at a free moment and present your form and ask if he can take 1/2 an hour to help a kid who wants to earn a scholarship. He should be more than happy to administer and sign off.

3) SAT scores - You should have a document with your scores on it. Take it to Kinko's (if you don't have a fax machine) and get it sent. Alternate plan - ask for the school to have them sent with your transcripts. You have taken the SAT, haven't you?

4) Interview results - If you have already had your interview (and hopefully sent a thank you note), follow up with the unit where it was done and ask what date it was sent to CC. Follow up with CC with that info. If you haven't interviewed, you need to pick up that phone tomorrow morning and call your first choice school's unit and ask for an interview. It is going to be tough to get in now that most colleges are already in session, but they should be able to accommodate you. If you haven't taken the PFT (see #2) you can have the APFT done at the interview. Good way to make a solid impression with the unit (if you are in good shape).

Bottom line, if you can't put it all together for the application, the Army has done its first filter very effectively. Don't mean to be harsh, but your post sounds like you are throwing up your hands.

Would they be able to use my CFA scores from when I took it at WP's SLS?

Will I really be DQ'd if I do not submit everything within 15 days?

I had somehow accidentally submitted my application online in mid July. I was given the same notice, with my respective portions missing. (PFT, Interview, Transcripts, Statement) If you read carefully, it says to respond within 15 days of receiving your letter. You have a phone number for your Point of Contact regarding the scholarship. Use it.
After this letter, my PFT was done the next day. I had all my paperwork complete by the next time I could enter the school (two days later) and faxed it all in. And my school's computer system was down, with no access to transcripts or anything. Yet I was still able to get a copy from the wonderful ladies who work at guidance. Politeness and professionalism can go very far. My interview was later that same day. My application was officially complete the next week after.
The CFA scores from USMA will not count for the PFT. They are two different tests. The PFT is actually easier.
As for being DQ'd, I cannot say. I took no chances, and had all my application in within 3 days of my letter. How I submitted mine online, not fully complete, is beyond me. I don't recall ever laying eyes on the final online submission page. But that's not important. What's important is that somewhere, something went awry, and the mistake was promptly corrected. And my school doesn't begin for another 10 days. This happened to me in mid-July.
Get it all done. It is possible, so long as you put your mind to it! =]

are they dead serious about 15 days from the day they sent the letter, no matter how early it is via-a-vis the ACTUAL deadline to submit everything in time for the next available selection board meeting? There are kids who submitted online application before even the summer started!!! Or is it just their way of "encouraging" the candidates to be prompt in sending all supporting documents?

My son got the same letter, dated August 18. However, his interview with the PMS will not happen till the first week of September.

I think it's just some motovation to finish it up. I originally sent an applications to AROTC (this was before summer). But decided that I was going to just pursue NROTC. I had contacted someone to close out my application, but guess it never happend. Anyways, I recieved the AROTC "15 day letter" last week as well. It's probably the second one I've recieved. I remember seeing something similar maybe 2 months ago.
