I have searched this on Google and this forum but have been unable to find what I'm looking for. Is it acceptable to send a screenshot of your test scores from the testing website to Army ROTC Command? Financially, it is to difficult to send test scores through the testing agency to every single place that requires a verified test score. So has anyone ever taken a screenshot and sent it? And is that acceptable? Thank you for your time.

I can't say as that I've seen a screen shot sent before, but we sent a photocopy of the official score sheet (the one sent in snail mail) without a problem. Your HS Guidance office should also have a paper copy of the scores they can send in to CC as well if you are struggling to find an "official" document.

For both of our children regarding their transcripts (2 different hs in 2 different states). The official transcript included their SAT/ACT scores and dates taken. Contact your GC to see if this is true for your school.

I agree with goalie, in this case it is always best to CYA, and send a copy snail mail too.

I would suggest that a week or so later have YOUR CHILD call to confirm the receipt. It is important that they take the lead in this situation. If you must call for him, make sure you have a valid reason. For example, one time I did call, but it was because the deadline was approaching and due to work and school issues he would be unable to connect with them during the duty day. I made it very clear in the beginning of the conversation that I was only calling due to a scheduling confliction. In other words he went straight from school to work. School started at 7 and he returned home at 9. I made the call succinct and to the point, do you have it, YES, great, thank you for your time. I didn't ask when he would go up to the board, when we would find out, what were his chances, etc.

It is important to double check that they receive all of the info, since you will be sitting on your hands believing that they went to the board, only to learn they didn't because they did not have a complete packet.

Never assume that it is complete, until you know they say it is complete.

I also impart this opinion about having your child call because next yr as an 18 yo, any ROTC problem (pay, DodMerb, etc) will be on his/her shoulders alone. They (ROTC) will not discuss any info with you since they will be a legal adult. It is best to prepare them for this while they are at home and you can guide them through the path, than when they are away at college. Trust me I speak from experience as a ROTC mom...nothing is worse when your 18/19 yo calls you freaking out late one night because they just learned about a DodMerb paperwork snafu and are freaking out since it coincides with finals.

I have been told that a screenshot emailed in will suffice. Also, make sure you all note that the old email address (atccps@usacc.army.mil) no longer works. The new email address for submitting scholarship application info is Train2Lead@usacc.army.mil

I used a screenshot last year.(In addition to sending it via snailmail.)
Just make sure you get a confirmation from a real person that it was added to your file. They got alot of e-mails and it would be horrible for it to get lost.

Thank you all for the answers. I will send in my screenshot to the new email address(thanks to the person who pointed that out, I for one did know it was changed, but it's important for the word to be out so hopefully other people notice what you said). As far as my scores being included with my transcript, my school(a private boarding school) is weird with transcripts. They refuse to include scores on the transcripts for whatever reason. I do wish I could just have my GC do that. Oh well. Just more stuff I get the pleasure of trying to make sure gets received haha.

Again, Thank you all.
