My son has taken the ACT 3 times and has improved each time, however he has only sent the last test to USCGA Admissions. My question is will USCGA accept the remaining 2 test scores from us or do they need come direct from ACT?

Thanks for your help.

You can send in the score yourself, but I think the school or academy always take it directly from college board. I have to pay ten bucks for each additional school that we want to send the SAT scores.

Just thinking out loud here...if his last score is his best, and it came from the testing agency, why send in the other two (lower) scores?

USCGA Super Scores, so you have the advantage of taking the best of each test.

Scores must be official score reports from the testing facility for any SA to accept. Check with his guidance counselor and see if they put the "score sticker" from SAT and ACT on his official transcripts. If so, have then send an official copy to CGA (must have school stamp and must be sent from school, not student or parent).
If not, you will have to go online to each testing source and pay to have the scores sent. SAT code: 5807 ACT code: 0600
CGA, as well as other SA do super score (the highest score from each category from either SAT or ACT) so it is to a candidate's advantage to retake tests and take both tests and submit all scores.

PS: It's less expensive to just code in the SA when you register for the test than to pay for a copy after the fact.

Admissions Data (2008): Must submit writing scores to CGA for either test.

Percent of Applicants Admitted: 8%
Test Scores -- 25th / 75th Percentile
SAT Critical Reading: 560 / 660
SAT Math: 610 / 680
SAT Writing: - / -

ACT Composite: 27 / 30
ACT English: 27 / 32
ACT Math: 31 / 32

Ah, that makes sense. Not familiar with the ACT, so I didn't realize there were individual components, like the SAT.
