Our son told us he had a fantastic experience as a cadet for a day a couple of weeks ago. I'm happy for him that it reinforced his decision that CGA is still #1 on his list. I'm just curious about something - what is it about the peanut butter?

He laughed out loud when he told us he got to be the one to open the peanut butter jar at meal time, but when we asked him why it was so funny, he simply said "you had to be there". :yllol:

FIRE IN THE HOLE!

Do not recommend doing it with the mayo....for the sake of your shipmates' uniforms.

Our 4/c Cadet had a big goose egg on his forehead when we visited with him over labor day. He missed!!!

LOL. I remember when we did this at AIM. Missing is definitely not gonna feel good

It this is the same thing they do at USAFA, it's hilarious. Our Element Leader for Summer Seminar told us that he had to do it his C4C year and the peanut butter shot across the whole table and hit the ranking cadet at his table. :yllol:

That was one of the funniest things I heard when my son came home for Thanksgiving of his 4/c (swab) year, thanks for bringing back great memories!!!!

Proud mom of a Firstie!

Its especially fun when all the beansprouts (Cadet for a Day) are here. Those meals are the best because there are about three times the amount of fire in the holes then usual.

Or you can do what I did last Thursday...I ate a whole jar of peanut butter in under 10 minutes. I don't recommend it because I felt awful afterward but I am now on my upperclass good side for the rest of the year. It was fun at the time too.

LOL! Since they heard about their older brother's beansprout experience, our two younger sons BOTH decided to try the peanut butter trick. I'm glad they did it on the back deck with the family dog right there to help them clean up! I don't know which was funnier - the "opening" of the peanut butter or the dog trying to lick it off the roof of his mouth for 5 minutes straight!
