USMA 2015

Hi everyone! My name is (if you couldn't already tell!) Sarah, and I'm originally from North Carolina! I am Active Duty Army, currently serving my first tour in Afghanistan. I am a candidate for the USMA class of 2015. When I'm not in Afghanistan I am stationed in Fort Hood, Texas!

I already have a commander's endorsement which serves as a nomination, but I have also received a Congressional Nomination from one of my Senators. I love everything about the Academy and am very eager hopefully be there next year!

What's your MOS?

Thank you, both! my MOS is 68W-combat Medic; I'm currently with a Route Clearance Engineering Unit!

My Application is going well, just anxious to find out! I've a lot of support from within my Battalion during the process; my Battalion Commander is a graduate of the Academy, as well as a PLETHORA of LTs and CPTs. There haven't been many questions or scenarios I've come up with that haven't been answered quickly! It (the support...) was much needed, as a lot of the requirements are difficult to achieve while deployed! The only thing I'm waiting on now is DoDMERB, which has probably been the most time consuming since I'm over here; ironic since I work directly for the Battalion PA

Welcome to the boards! Everyone here is very friendly and supportive, you will get a lot of good advice here!

I believe you can do most of the DoDMERB here on BAF, but I am not positive. I know one of the docs here and she was pretty confident you could, and if not perhaps Kuwait.
