I got an email from admissions today that was titled "Holiday Greetings From West Point." I tried to view the email, which is composed of a single picture, but AOL won't load it. What is the picture and/or message in the email? I'm assuming everyone received the same email if appointed.

I'm assuming you don't have to be appointed because I got the same email last year around the holidays.

Thanks Tiki!

And AKH I wasn't sure if you had to be appointed or not I just thought I'd mention it in case others didn't receive the email.

I got the same email from admissions last year and this year. A lot of colleges send those types of emails out to students on their mailing lists.

Asking about a holiday greetings email on SAF seems so.... trivial.

I wanted to know what the picture was... Anything related to USMA is not trivial to me.

Agree with Dixieland. :thumb:
If any candidate (or appointee in this case), has any question about anything related to West Point, then this is the place to ask.
Noone should be made to feel that their question is trivial.

well since no one has actually answered your original question yet, the e-mail was simply a "greeting card" picture, wishing you and your family a safe and prosperous holiday season and new year, from the admissions staff at The Academy.
