Congratulations, where will she be going.
God Bless and God Speed,
RGK
Congrats! What an awesome way to start off the new year!
Would you mind sharing you stats (ACT/GPA/ etc.) with us? I wouldn't mind knowing, if it isn't too personal to ask...
Congrats KMC -- Our house is now on stalking mode for the next week or two--We were part of the EA2 group as well.
Well, at the moment, it looks like the Coast Guard Academy.
Best line of the year.
SATs Math:710, Reading:770
ACT 31 composite
Top 5% of class
GPA 3.83 unweighted (as by my calculations...not really sure as our HS does things differently)
PFE was done at AIM, not sure of the exact score
All-State Choir
KMC's daughter (whether she knows it or not) is a blue rated vocalist and that endorsement is just as powerful as a blue athletic rating. We have deferred quite a few applicants from EA to RA that had similar academic achievements, leadership potential, AIM experiences, etc. so it definitely was her musical and performing arts background (on top of all her other accomplishments) which ensured an EA appointment. I only share that insight to highlight that it's not all about athletics/varsity letters/PFE scores in our holistic review process and it will truly be a diverse group of 290 young men and women (plus up to eight International Cadets) who make up the Class of 2015 on June 27th. Congratulations on the well-deserved appointment and I hope she accepts!
