For those of you who have all ready officially accepted your appointment on your portal, did you send in the card that came in the appointment folder too?

Gray cards just appeared on daughter’s portal. However, the “Travel” card has me a bit confused about Rday. The 2011-2012 calendar of important dates still shows Rday as 6-27-11, but the Travel gray card has the candidate complete the following section:

This package is for accommodations on 6/27/2010 with a same-gender roommate, continental breakfast the next morning and bus transportation to the Academy on 6/28/2010

I accept the accommodation for Newark

I Decline the accomodation package
(above was copied and pasted right off travel card)

I would assume that this did not get updated from last year. So, can I also assume that the dates will change to 6/26/2011 for accommodations and 6/27/2011 for transportation? Should I call and let admissions know about this?

Thanks for the help!

Couldn't hurt contacting admissions to let them know. Chances are they know that the information needs updating. However, I filled out the Gray Cards about a month ago and I'm surprised to see the dates weren't updated in the period they were removed from the portal.

I personally did both: accepted on my portal and sent the card that came in the mail with my appointment. Got two emails that notified me that I had accepted my appointment, but I just wanted to follow through with everything. It can't hurt, anyway.

I was also filling out my Gray Cards yesterday and was wondering about the shoe sizes. Do the sizes run big or small or would we just be okay to put what we normally wear...which is also difficult because depending on the brand of shoe I wear a few different sizes.

It's not set in stone so just submit the size you normally wear. Chances are your boot size will be different than your low quarter size, and they are aware of this. They just need to place their order and have a general idea of size.
