Ok, I don't know if I asked about the whole schedule before or a just a couple classes (I couldn't find my previous post). I am going to need to decide my classes soon and this is what I am thinking:

AP Chemistry
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
Pop Music or Musical Keyboarding (have to take an art/music course)
AP English
AP Macro/Microeconomics or Honors Physics

**Honors physics would only work out if the lab corresponded to the lab day for AP Chemistry**

As of right now, I definitely want to take AP Chemistry which means that I would have zero experience with physics in my high school career before college.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

If by taking physics it would prevent you from taking AP Chem - take Chem. But if its between physics and Econ - I agree, physics.

That is what I thought. If it is between AP Chemistry and Honors Physics, then I will choose AP Chemistry. However, I would definitely choose both if I was given the possibility. It is just unrealistic that it will work out because there is not much interest in my school for AP Chemistry so it will probably only be offered for one period.

Also, what about AP Psychology instead of the economics? I would be interested in both courses, is one of them considered better in the eyes of admission or for validation purposes?

when i was there they didnt say what they preferred but they did say it would be smart to take AP Chem (i was deciding between ap chem and ap physics) because plebe year has chemistry so it would be using the knowledge u have from AP the very next year, not in two years as it would be for AP Physics

Definitely take Physics.

However, if you like economics as I do (very useful), I would drop AP Stats. Truthfully, AP Stats is a BS AP course.. one of the regional directors I met at USNA summer seminar said it barely even matters, especially if you're already taking AP calculus. That's just my opinion though.

Ok so some people are saying AP Chem others say Honors Physics. I'll put it this way:

Is 2 yrs of chemistry (H and AP) > 1 yr of H Chem and 1 yr of H Physics

or

Is 1 yr of H Chem and 1 yr of H Physics > 2 yrs of chemistry (H and AP)

AP chemistry trumps honors physics. If it's between one or the other, choose chemistry without a doubt. If you can do both, even better.

Skip psychology! Physics, for sure.
