Classmate of yours has been immortalized in the Air Mobility Command Museum, Dover Air Force Base. :thumb:

I donated my old uniforms to the Norwich museum about 10 years ago, because they were just collecting dust in my closet. It was kinda creepy when I showed up one alumni weekend to see one of my uniforms on display in the museum adorning a mannequin, complete with nametag (didn't get a commemorative plaque like the one depicted above, though!).

Oh MAN....

And I always thought Matt was a decent kinda guy, for an airlifter.

But his parades, his sabre, AND coins???

Hmmm.....gonna have to rethink my "...any classmate, any place, any time...even my toothbrush" mantra...

Nahh....

He's "83, BEST TO BE!" :jump1:

Ahhh sonny....

Lemme tell you what it was like flying my C-53C across Greenland, to Iceland, headed to Eindhoven...looking out the window at those big black and white stripes on the wings, the synchronized throbbing of the mighty Pratt and Whitney R1830-92 radials pulling us along...ready for anything!

Oh yeah, I really did do that! :thumb:
(see if you can find N32MS or Wings of Liberation Museum...)
