Just a quick question (I tried searching but couldn't find anything regarding this): If you do NROTC not on scholarship do you have to pay for your uniforms and other NROTC related expenses that would otherwise be free if you were on scholarship?

They will supply you with the required uniforms, from PT gear to service uniforms.

Many who have a military connection will hit the NX/BX/PX to buy extra stuff like a second PT uniform or service uniform, just for the ease of a cadet not having to wash them as frequently.

They do not supply you like USNA...down to the sneakers. However, whatever is required to be in reg. will be given to you.

Do non-scholarship NRTOC cadets have to pay for their cruise? I know they only get to go on one instead of three, but is that one payed for?

Also, do non-scholarship cadets receive a monthly stipend like scholarship cadets do?

I would pm Centh on this forum for greater detail. Their DS is an NROTC mid.

If I recall right, it is a one time deal...it is not every yr. The every yr is reserved for USNA mids currently.
