Candidates for USNA and USMA

Hi, I see that some of the candidates have been appointed to both USNA and USMA. Have you decided where you are going? Why did you pick that school? If you have not decided when will you? My DS is trple qualified for both schools and nominated to both schools and is anxiously awaiting a response from either.

I can understand your anxiety. My DS had USMA appointment in January, USCGA appointment in February and the BFE he was waiting for (USNA!) came last week. So he immediately sent very grateful "I decline" to the first two RIGHT AFTER signing "I accept" to USNA. These were the only 3 academies DS finished his application to. I would think that those who haven't made their decision may only be waiting for word to come from all their SA apps. before they accept/decline.

Hang in there! I would think the SA's will send more offers once they start receiving "declines" from those with other options. I hope your DS hears soon!
