I have studied and strived for the service academies since the seventh grade. So I am well aware of the sacrifices and hard work that's required. If any of you guys can comment and give feedback, that would truly be appreciated. Thanks!

Focus on leadership in your chosen activities and keep up the hardwork academically and athletically! Dreams do come true - ds has wanted to go to the usafa since middle school and now has an appointment and the opportunity. Good Luck!

You are looking good. You might inquire about Boys' State as a rising senior.

Leadership roles

Ask your coaches if you can be the team captain. Leadership roles look great on a service academy application....in fact, they look great on any application for school or employment. Also, plan on taking the SAT and ACT test at least twice for each. (Shoot for Feb-May of your junior year to get your testing behind you.) Finally, take a look at the physical testing exercises and train for them. Good luck and welcome to the board.

I see here that you are a "Key Club member" - how many keys do you have in your possession?

LOL Key Club is a voluntary community service group.
