SLS and NASS

Was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation as i am. I got accepted to AF SLS, and waiting on NASS to reply. USNA says that the latest i will get notified if i was accepted or not will be May first. But money for AF SLS is due March 31st.

Anyone else is same situation?

I want to go to at least one but would rather go to NASS than AF SLS. Anything i can do?

I was in the exact same situation last year. In the end, I was NOT selected for NASS and didn't find out until maybe.....mid to late April? Right now, you are running out of time for AFA SS. And there really isn't anything you can do except wait. They'll tell you when they tell you.

I am in the exact same situation as you JFM! I really care a lot more about NASS. I haven't heard back from NASS, but was accepted 3 days after I applied for both AF and WP SLS. (I applied fairly late for both too!)

I convinced my folks to let me attend two, one of which hopefully being Navy, and turned down West Point. If you are really stuck because you can only choose one, then I agree with mcknight, wait it out. Try to anticipate how long that money order takes to get to AF though, because they emphasize the money needing to be there by the 31st!

Good luck I hope you get accepted! Oh by the way, I'm from Maryland, so Navy is going to wait for as long as possible to notify me.
