Contracted Cadet Attending AIT

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can answer my question: Can a contracted SMP (reserves) MS level II cadet attend AIT. If so what rank would I wear- cadet, or private? My leadership says I can attend this summer and that I will wear the cadet circle; however, other sources and many of the older cadets say a contracted cadet cannot attend AIT. Thank for your time.

If your leadership (USAR and ROTC?) says you can attend AIT, then what does it matter what other cadets say?

USAR leadership is doubtful (from my CO). Sorry for the confusion. ROTC leadership is the one (a CSM) that believes I can.
 
Then if you really want to attend, press your leadership to find out if you are able to. :thumb:
