I live in Japan, and I am currently waiting to hear if I got an AROTC scholarship. I've completed my DoDMERB medical exams as well as remedials, except for providing my medical records and allergy questionnaire which I will send off in the next week. I have already gotten into one school, and I am trying to wait to hear from Cadet Command before deciding on which school I should attend. Will I be emailed or will I receive a letter regarding my scholarship application sometime in April? Because I live abroad, everything is slightly delayed. Is there someone I can email or contact to find out if a decision has been made? Thank you very much for your time.

You can check your application status on the GoArmy website, someone with better computer skills will probably include a link. You can also contact the ROO at one of the schools you listed and ask to have them contact you if and when you receive the scholarship.
There is a lot of speculation as to when the results for the final board will be posted. Most seem to think it will not be before April 1st. It took 2 months for the rsults from the Jan. board to be released, the hope is that it will not take that long this time. Due to beduget issues it could be well into summer before everything shakes out. It has been an unusual year to say the least.

However, it is my understanding that although results will be visible, there is still a wait for letters to be mailed from CC. It is those letters that are important--accepting the scholarship and confirming to what school.
Hopefully the results will be made known soon! Another episode like January would be rough.
