Where do you get USAFA pennants and lanyards and all that sort of stuff? I've been looking everywhere but I couldn't find them.....
 
As a reminder when you join AOG you get a discount at the visitor center gift shop in addition on I-day there will be class t-shirts,bags etc;squadron pins,hoodies and the like.:wink:

I figure that our AOG discount (15%) has saved us about $450 at the gift shop over the last 4 years (yes, do the math!) It is amazing how much you will buy!

If you buy things on I day are you allowed to keep it with you somewhere throughout bct and the first year. I thought I remembered hearing you werent allowed to have any personal clothes for a while.
 
The AOG sells squad pins on-line which we always have wore on our lanyards or photo IDs at work. One actually got me out of a speeding ticket. Cadets are assigned to an initial squadron as a 4 dig, then are shuffled to their permanent squadron for the remainder of their academy career. So we have always worn 2 pins.

They also sell BCT squadron pins.:thumb:
