I just had a quick question regarding the Army vs Air Force football game in 2011. I accepted my offer of appointment to USMA recently and had heard from someone that West Point sometimes flies cadets out to away football games. Now I am from Colorado and the game in 2011 is in Colorado so I just wanted to see if this is true and if so how it works. I just want to know because if it's true then it might be a chance to see my family. So does anyone know if it's true and how it works?

Thanks.

Yea, a month or so before the game Brigade will put a sign-up online and few hundred cadets will get picked (from all 4 classes) to go. They will hop on military aircraft out to USAFA. Im not sure how much time you will get off but if nothing eles your parents can come to USAFA to see you.

So do the cadets that get picked depend on anything? Like the ones with the best grades or ones who are from Colorado or anything like that?

I would like to support my DS, but I have a different problem. My DS accepted an appointment to West Point for the Class of 2015 and I am a USAFA graduate. The game on Nov 5th will be fun.

Yep. Grades play a big role according to a WP admissions major I talked to last week.
