I was awarded a 4 year army scholarship this past march board. I immediately sent an email to some email like train2serve@army.mil or something like that about a transfer to a school that i plan on going to. So i am really hoping to get the scholarship transfer. However I have seen clarksonarmy say that there are these certain emails that you have to send to. there were like four of them and i didnt know which one to choose!!!! So i dont know which one i should email. My scholarship i accepted was like my 4th choice but i an committed to going to my number 2 choice. furthermore how long does it take to hear back from transfers? also where do you find out that is has changed or not? do they email you or just put it on our army status sight?

You need to be talking to the PMS/ROO at both the school you intend to transfer to and the school you received the scholarship to. You need to keep them in the loop. If you have not done this you need to do it now, they will tell you where to send the emails and paperwork and how long it will take.

I have spoken with them. the school i hope to get the transfer to told me to accept the 4 year scholarship and send an email to request a transfer to train2lead@usacc.army.mil so i did it. However i just wanted to make sure this is right because i know that clarksonarmy is telling people other emails to write to. Just wondering if that one was right? also i already sent it to that email so i was wondering when you typically hear back from cadet command about the transfer and where do we hear it at? on our email or on the status website?

You need to send a copy of your acceptance letter, accept the scholarship to the school you got it to originally, and then write a short letter saying why you request it to be transfered. If the school you want to go to is cheaper I would put that in the letter. It took 3 days for my request to be approved but I sent all my stuff directly to my contact at CC

It would be on one of the various pieces of paper that you got from CC. It might be on the scholarship letter, but I think I found mine on a letter reminding me what I still needed to complete for the application.

ok thanks... one more question though... were did you find the transfer at? on your email or army status?

Clarksonarmy recently posted the exact points of contact and their e-mail addresses for transfer requests. They are split up according to what ROTC Brigade the schools are in. I'm not sure how to post the link, but if you search his posts over the past 30 days or so you will find it. That designated person is who I would recommend checking with...

If you click on the number for a post in the upper right hand corner it will pop you up that post alone. Then you should be able to cut and paste the link.

That it was!, I was in the library at my school my I got it...I got kicked out for celebrating too loudly
