hkim93, I know what ya mean. They're all in guy sizes (minus the female low quarters) so conversion can be a bit tricky. Generally, men's shoe sizes will be about 1.5 sizes smaller than your normal shoe size. I can't reiterate this enough though - but make sure you try your boots on beforehand! While I might be able to guesstimate well in Adidas for a normal shoe, Bellevilles seem to run large (I ended up a whole size down from where expected) and I have not been able to try on Bates. It would be very hard to try and guess your size in a boot that you're already converting to a men's size from a women's and then to figure out the different sizing on the boots. As for choosing, just find the one that is most comfortable for you. None of them are preferred over the others although it does seem some people have had better experiences with the Bellevilles in this community that have shared.
The oxfords felt true to size for me and I got my normal shoe size if that helps though.
