4 days left to accept your appointment!!!

I'm sure most of the "Regulars" here have accepted their appointment if one was offered. So this is mainly for those lurking here, and those who were offered more than one academy or educational opportunity.

You have until May 1st to accept your appointment, or you risk a very strong chance of having the appointment rescinded and taken away from you. This year is especially competitive, with the reduction of appointments. I would not even consider procrastinating on this decision.

Again; 99% of everyone here who was offered an appointment most like accepted/declined by now. There are however some who lurk and don't post. Just wanted to let you know that if you haven't accepted yet, you are running out of time. best of luck.... mike.....

We mailed DD's acceptance yesterday! She definitely took her time. She had lots of great opportunities (Cornell, Coast Guard Academy, UVA, etc) but in the end, she went with her original first choice - USAFA! We even took a picture of her signing the document.....

Sent mine in today. Lots of confusion amongst the Post Office employees, who were unsure of whether or not I had to pay any postage to send the thing (the envelope clearly states postage to be paid by recipient aka USAFA) and they wouldn't let me get delivery confirmation on the thing, and they wouldn't post mark it in front of me. So, I guess I can only hope and pray that they did post mark it, and that it gets there by the 1st. If its even possible, my stress level is higher than when I was waiting to hear from the Academy.

I had the same experience. I think I will call tomorrow to see if they received it. We only live 45 minutes north of the Academy, so they should have received it by then.
