SLS flight schedule

Hello community,
My flight for Session 1 of SLS will arrive at Newark Airport at around 6 am. Will there be USMA representatives waiting for me there?

Last year, I think USMA had people at Newark at 9 AM. So bring a good book and get some food. Even when they get there, they won't take you back for a few hours. My flight got in a noon and people had been there since 10. We left the airport at 1.

Luckily for me, I had about 6 guys on my plane going to SLS, so I followed them. But even if you are the only one, they will meet you in their fatigues(I think that's what they were wearing) and you can't miss them. On the plus side, you'll have plenty of time to find them :biggrin:
 
BillSL- you'll see me there! :) I am an asian guy with a black USMA cap (which i will take off and hide once WP officials appear) hahaha
lightfoot- you're very lucky! I met a couple guy here who are going to SLS but I seem to be the only one attending it for Session 1...
 
The only reason I knew that they were going to SLS is because you don't find a group of guys with khaki shorts, polos, and buzz cuts (which isn't required) everyday. lol
 
My flight (last year) had a layover in Atlanta. While I was waiting to board the plane to Newark I overheard a few candidates talking about West Point. When I landed later, I discovered some 10 people going to SLS, and as we walked out of the terminal towards the baggage claim, we ended up having more people follow up to find the West Point rep.

I now realize that it would be pretty hard not to spot the group of teenagers wearing similar clothes and huddled together. :thumb:
 
I'm red-eye-ing from San Diego to Newark and getting in at 5:30am, see you all there!

Alright, guess we'll end up meeting!

Do I have to get there wearing kakhi shorts and polos or normal clothes are fine? Just wondering (I will be flying probably with jeans a jacket - International Flights have a different culture I suppose ;) ) if I must change once I get to the airport.
 
Polos and khakis are nice, but not required. Show up looking decent- nice jeans and a clean t shirt would probably be okay. You change into PT clothes pretty soon after you get there.
