Does anyone know when this will be sent out or available on the site? I received a letter a while ago saying that I would get in on May 2nd, but still don't have anything. Thanks!

There's a link for it on the bottom of the academy home page now. But if you click on it you get a Coming Soon message. I'd guess they're running a bit behind schedule on it. As I recall, DD's was also a bit late coming out. Just keep checking the link on the Home Page and learn one of the first rules of academy/military life - Hurry up and wait.

Good luck!

Spoke to admissions this week. The word is that they are going out FedEx Friday. So look for them early next week.

Okay so I am really excited about KP and I have already purchased a one way ticket to New York for DS. (Family is coming to NY a week early to sightsee). I just read logging in booklet and it says "all travel arrangements for official governement travel must be made through our traffic management center..." will I get reimbursed for airline ticket?? or NOT! What about drive from home to the airport? We live 80 miles to the closest airport in our state? Thanks for any info.

Call them. They will tell you the maxium that you will be reimbursed. Well, actually, not you but your son/daughter. They put the money into their Navy account. Since we were going with our DS, we decided to purchase our own tickets so we could all go together.
If you decide to drive from your home to USMMA, they will reimburse you just so much per mile. They do not reimburse you for the drive from your home to the airport. I guess they figure you can afford that since the education is almost free.

Welcome to the roller coaster. Be aware that you will now be dealing with government bureaucracy and there are specific rules and procedures for everything. It pays to double check before spending any major amounts of money. That often means last minute changes. Those of us who are used to planning and organizing things in advance learn to adapt to the unofficial parents' motto: Semper gumby!

Good luck!

Finally a real list! Do this, get that, this is really real, huh?
