Prayers for USMA Cadet and his family...

Certainly will pray for him and his family and friends. What year was he?

"Freedom isn't free", hopefully kids his age living it up at regular colleges and universities take time to remember that...

Prayers for USMA Cadet and hid family...

My thoughts and prayers are with the cadet and his family, as well as, his family at West Point. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has called him home. I leave you all with this poem:

We little knew that morning that God
was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
but as God calls us, one by one,
The Chain will link again.

God Bless and Speed to you all,

RGK

What a tragic loss. I can't imagine the pain his family must be feeling, 4 weeks after the exhilaration of seeing him enter on R-Day.

Not much anyone can say. I posted this to a parents group for the Air Force Academy Class of 2015, with our cadets soon to graduate from BCT, everyone is heartbroken for this family.

This news brought tears to my eyes. I cannot even begin to imagine what his family is going through. From a mom's perpective, I don't think that there can be anything worse than this. God Bless that young adult and the family that will grieve for a very long time. My prayers go out to the fellow cadets as well. The emotional aspect of Basic must be hard enough without going through something like this. Prayers for everyone involved. God Bless
