The West Point Class of 2015 March Back is tomorrow (Aug 8) and I was wondering if I...and other regular civilians...could enter the grounds to cheer them on. I have a few friends in particular I want to try to get a glimpse of.
Congrats to the Class of 2015...West Point CADETS!
Also, I know that they are leaving before sunrise but would getting there at 7:30 allow me to see them?

As long as you have a valid ID (drivers license will suffice) and a valid reason to be on post, you can get into West Point using the Thayer Gate. That is, unless they changed their policy within the past year.

From Deb Dalton (Parent Communication Liaison PAO):
MARCH BACK – Aug. 8, 2011 – The Class of 2015 will march back to West Point on MONDAY, August 8. The class will be accompanied members of the Long Gray Line ranging from the Class of 1945 to the Class of 2010. Included in that group are 78 family members of the Class of 2015 who are West Point graduates. The Directorate of Academy Advancement invites West Point graduates to participate in the march annually. A GREAT day for the Long Gray Line, the Class of 2015 and their families!
The cadets will enter West Point via Washington Gate and proceed down Washington Road arriving on the apron in front of Washington Hall between Noon and 12:30 p.m. Good places to park are in K Lot, just north of the West Point Cemetery, the Catholic Chapel lot and in the vicinity of Eisenhower Hall. It is a work day, so many of the parking areas will be filled w/West Point employees. Parents, family members and friends are welcome to attend. Please remember you will not have any contact with your new cadet, but your support is certainly appreciated! Many will make signs congratulating their son/daughter on their completion of Cadet Basic Training; a true accomplishment and a very proud one at that!
