Navy Exchange?

Can Midshipman shop for uniforms and accessories at a full blown Navy Exchange in the U.S.? (in addition to the smaller "Ships Store" on campus.)
 
NEX is open to all dod folks and their dependents, so yeah, bring the military ID

ah....Yeah.... does that include our Red Headed stepchildren under DOT? ( no offense to redheads, or stepchildren the world over!) Bueller? Bueller?
 
My once strawberry blonde, now closely shorn, DS used his military ID at a NEX in FL w/o a problem. :thumb:
 
Are they getting DOD military IDs again? They took them away when I was a mid and gave us some white general "US Govt Employee" ID. Rumor was that someone got caught swiping some blanks out of the Naval Science office.

Yes they now get DoD Military IDs (now aka CAC Cards).
 
Those "dod" cards are called "CACs" and all federal employees have them. CAC stands for Common Access Card.
