It was a pretty impressive halftime up at Michie this afternoon.
Former Mayor of NYC, Rudy Giuliani delivered a speech and then presented a laurel wreath in honor of the first responders on 9/11.

Gotta love San Diego... but GO ARMY!!!

It was a close game. If only it weren't for all those fumbles...

Really cool halftime show.
Disappointing outcome of game.
Excruciatingly hot sun.

I agree. It was a good game. The score would have been entirely different without the fumbles and turnovers. San Diego had difficulty with the triple option. Their defensive line had difficulty with the off tackle run when they set up in gap. Trent Steelman continues to improve at QB. He did a nice job of reading San Diego. However, it is hard to overcome the turnovers.
Army has a good football team. Much better than 0-2 would indicate. Having said that, they will need some luck to turn 0-2 into a 6 game winning season for bowl eligibility. The first step will be a win this Saturday against Northwestern. The odds makers currently favor Northwestern by 7 1/2- 8 /12 points. They did not see the same game that I saw last week. I will go out on a limb and predict an Army win. They are underrated and Ellerman will be working on ball handling all week long.

I'll take that bet. I call Northwestern by 10 at least. Army can't beat a MAC team or a WAC team. Northwestern is used to taking on All-American defenses in the They've downed both Boston College and Eastern Illinois. Army will likely move the ball with some effectiveness, but they won't keep NU out of the endzone.
