My son received an email inviting him to attend a USAFA sponsored informational forum on 9/17 in the San Diego area. The RSVP date was 9/16, and when he tried to respond on 9/15, the message indicated that the RSVP date had passed...which of course it hadn't. An email sent yesterday has not yet been answered. This morning he attempted to make contact with the Lt. in charge of this event via phone, and his voice mailbox was not accepting new voicemails.

Any ideas out there on how to proceed from here? He is very much interested in attending.

Thanks in advance.

Just Attend

If you can't reach anyone, simply show up. They're not going to turn you away. Good luck.

Thanks. That's what we were thinking, but wanted to go through the proper channels if at all possible.

Got a response. No more room at this event. Does anyone know if there is a published list of future academy information sessions?

Thanks in advance!

Possibly contact Admissions for a list of upcoming events. We went to the one at Shreveport/Barksdale last year which was in conjunction with the bowl game the Academy was in.

These informational forums might be held along with such major road events with lots of personnel attending - we had everyone from the Superintendent and the Admissions Director talking to us, and a big chunk of the Admissions staff to run the show - it was quite impressive and very motivating for my son.

Also - you might put the question to the Admissions Facebook page, they seem to be very good at answering questions posted on it.
