P.S. I know i gotta do better on the SAT and ACTs. Sad part is that im not the best test taker, but I do well in classes because i can study and memorize the things i have to learn.

My son was a poor standardized test taker too, he had to work really hard taking practice test after practice test to get his scores up...he finally managed a 30 E and 32 M, and is now a Mid3C at USNA (and doing fine academically).
With how well rounded you are in every other area, I would pick one test or the other and really focus on that and study hard and retake until the last test date!

You don't list the classes you've taken so I have to presume that you've taken the most challenging classes your school offers. If that's not the case then I would advise that you cut back on your ECAs and focus on your academics. Regardless, a 3.5 GPA with those test scores will not impress.

I think the above posts have provided some good advice. You need to work on those test scores, regardless. Not saying you don't have a chance without raising them as the rest of your resume looks impressive (to me anyway). Do you best to improve either the SAT or ACT and consider dropping some of those ECAs for now until you do so. :thumb:

I'm pretty sure the scores are near enough to get into a prep school already. I believe your ECs will take you straight to the NA.

EC's are definitely very impressive. However, you probably need to either raise your GPA and test scores. Based on previous posts from the past, prep school appointees often have either high test scores, not so high GPA, or high GPA and not so great test scores.

Also, you need to earn nominations. USNA may see your greatness with all the leadership and EC's, but your MOC may simply care more about academics (at least my nom app seem considerably more academically-based, EC's resume was optional).

Well i already have a presidential nomination because my dad is 100% disabled due to service connected disability.

I'm also taking both SAT and ACTs again so hopefully ill have good luck.
Another thing is that I also go to a Catholic college prep school and take a mixed curriculum of hard and medium classes.
I'm taking Psychology, Hon Physics, Anatomy, Religion classes, English IV, Band, Pre-Calc, and so far i have all A's. I was docked AP Calc because i got an 89 in geometry i think lol.
