Okay, so I can see where my M-4 will go...and boatloads (nautical reference) of ammo mag's...

But WHERE do I hang the HVARs?

Come on, Steve. All you need are a couple of hard points on the wings for the Mavericks and a Slammer or two, wing rails for the 9-Mikes, an under belly station for the JDAM or SDB bomb rack, and a little mod to the nose to fit the GAU (although I'd be hesitant to fire the gun as it may push the plane BACKWARDS in the dive!). Add an AESA radar, a JHMCS, and network / data link capability, and you'll have FINE solution for the AF's low end need.

(See what a few years working fighter requirements in the Puzzle Palace does to a man?)

I have no idea what that even is....

Honestly, it's a kit plane. Some guy painted it up like that for grins, as near as I could tell. There was no data plate and no standard placarding (serial number, fuel, etc.). It might be owned by the CG but I doubt it. This was at a small airport in VA. I thought of you, LITS, as soon as I saw it.

Hmm...okay...Slammer and 9-Mikes...yep, fighter talk! :thumb:

JDAMs...Mavericks..."SDB bomb rack"...sounds like BUFF talk to me...I mean, this is a single engine bird (two are better)...definitely NOT a BOMBER...

I thought we were discussing FIGHTER things...not BOMBER stuff...
:sofa:

Happy Vet's Day Bullet!!! :beer1:
