Hello everyone! I just thought I'd formally introduce myself. I'm currently a candidate for USAFA class of 2017! Let me tell you all a little bit about myself.
I grew up in the military. My father served 23 in the Air Force. I spent the last 15 of those years hanging on for the crazy journey that is military life. The military has been my family my whole life and I hope to continue that by attending the Air Force Academy.
My life has been pretty crazy, but lots of fun. I have been to 17 countries spanning 3 continents in my life, this includes the three countries my family has been stationed in. I was born in Japan, am an American citizen by birth, and am 100% Honduran (Hispanic) even though if you look at me you would assume I am African American (Yeah, I know its a little confusing).
Any way, I wish you all the best of luck in the admissions process of whichever service academy you are hoping to attend. Maybe one day, I'll end up together with some of you. See you around!
