I disagree with the comment above from Cisco - if you only go to one- THE school in the Army that has universal recognition is Ranger school.(NonMOS School that is, so I'm excluding SFAS and the Q course etc. As it is though, you won't find too many SF officers who don't have the Ranger tab along with the SF Tab..) It is the one school in the Army that exists to force you to your limits- it's not a tactical school it's a 61 day gut check and IMHO it has the greater cache by far. More importantly- it will teach something about yourself and your ability to carry on when you have lost 25 pounds and your feet are shredded from 2 weeks of immersion in Florida phase etc... I don't believe that you will find too many officers who will tell you that a new Engineer LT will be better served in his career with a Sapper tab than with the Ranger tab if you had to choose which to attend. Just my opinion- but I suspect it's shared by more than one guy who actually has spent some time with boots on.
