From what I've heard, the 3 Q's, so to speak, are scholastic (or academic), physical, and medical. Some people I came across considered a nomination the 4th Q.
Scholastic (short and general):
-GPA: 3.50 (3.75 W)
-SAT: 2110: 680 CR, 740 M, 690 W
-ACT: 32 composite: 34 E, 34 M, 30 R, 29 S
-I'm an officer of several clubs, and I participate in many more, and I've won several awards in each (include FBLA, NHS, DECA)
-I'm the captain of the Ultimate Frisbee team (for the last 3 years), I row, and I powerlift. (all are organized activities)
-I also have a patent which is currently pending
-But I am not a lettered athlete.
Physical:
(I understand this as the CFA portion)
-62 ft BBall throw
-9.2 shuttle run
-16 pullups
-92 situps
-75 pushups (max)
-7:10 mile
Medical:
Qualified, no waivers needed
Nomination:
I received one from a district congressman earlier this month
The reason why I'm asking is because I've seen people talk a lot about being triple Q'd (or 4Q'd). But I don't think there is a criteria that tells if one is 3Q'd or not. In other words, it seems almost subjective to be considered 3Q'd, and I was wondering if there were any objective specifications behind what goes into being "triple qualified"
Thanks.
