Hi All,

I had my AFROTC scholarship interview last month and am really excited about the process.

In typical senior fashion, I'm starting to rethink my major. I've applied as a Civil Engineering major and am thinking about switching to Mechanical Engineering. I know major changes can be kind of a pain, but do you think this one would be really difficult?

I also have a similar concern. I've a Mechanical Engineering NROTC scholarship, and am considering switching to Electrical Engineering. Both are Tier 1 majors.

JMPO but I would think that as long as they are in the same tier there would be no real issue.

Super, that's kind of what I'm thinking too-there's enough overlap between Civil and Mech anyway.

When you accept the offer the paperwork will tell you you can select anyone of a list of technical majors. When you submit that paperwork you can put mechanical down. After you have submitted our acceptance you have to request a major change from Maxwell.
