I am an United States Military Academy candidate and I would like to know what my chances are of admission.
ACT: Math 33; Reading 33; English 33; Writing 31; Science 30
SAT: Math 720; Critical Reading 660; Writing 610
2 years Cross Country, 1 year letter winner
National and Spanish Honor Society
Eagle Scout
Scouting Senior Patrol Leader
Class rank: 20 of 618; GPA 4.5417
Have been nominated by my congressman
Recieved a letter saying that I am qualified
Attended SLS at West Point
CFA: Pushups 42; Pullups 5; Situps 75; Mile 6:30; Sprint 9 sec: BBall 80 ft

As well, a quick question about my CAR. I am currently a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster in my Troop. Does that position carry alot of weight like Senior Patrol Leader?

Hey man, I'd just like to start off with the fact that I'm a junior, so I don't really know much of the app. process (just the SLS stuff) - but it seems like your pullups are a little too low...

EDIT: Yes, they are! Average Male: 9; Average Female: 3

Pushups, pullups, and situps are a bit low, IMO. I'd suggest taking the CFA over again.

yeah, you look phenomenal in all your fields...except for the CFA. your basketball throw and sprints are pretty decent, but you should really work on your pullups, situps, and pushups. that should seal the deal.
Congrats on your MOC nom and good luck!

You're qualified, AK907554. Therefore, if I were you, I'd contact your MALO/FFR/Admissions Officer to ask what you should do to improve your file and if you should update your CAR (I suppose you should, anyway). If you wish to retake the CFA, I think you need an authorization from your Regional Commander, but don't quote me on that.

You look like a good candidate academically but I see two problem areas.
1. You need to increase your strength - work on pull-ups and push-ups.The AVERAGE for these events in 9 pull-ups and 54 push-ups.
2. I do not see any significant leadership positions in your self-description
