Looks like offers are starting to populate in CCIMS. Recommend you be a little patient, and don't read anything into DODMERB status or other indicators. Letter in the mail with an offer to one or more schools is the only official offer you will receive. That call from the ROO may or may not be accurate. I'll let you all know when I hear that letters have been mailed.

Now...commence he low hover!

Just checked AROTC portal, I received a scholarship. :thumb:

CONGRATS!!! Hope when the letter comes you get some great schools to pick from:thumb:

Looking forward to some more great news for many of our AROTC families today. Off to work, but will be thinking of you all:smile:

Congratulations, you have the distinction of being the first to report from the Jan. Board.

It sure seemed to happen quicker this year then last. You are the envy of all those who waited countless weeks after the Jan. Board.

DS portal page changed - awarded AROTC Scholarship! Also found out he received a MOC nom to West Point today!

Congratulations!! Just checked my DD, her status still says "selected for an interview" :frown: We'll continue to wait...she has her plan B and while the scholarship would be great, her end goal is to finish nursing school and become and active duty nurse with the Army. Good luck to those still waiting

My son's status changed today. We talked to the ROO at his first choice school and the offer was not to that school (private) but rather his in state choice. He did say that they put them in, literally, one at a time. So statuses should continue to change as the day progresses. Good luck to everyone!

One at a time? Wow - that is a tedious job!! Do you think it is alphabetical? Maybe by the last 4 of the SS#?

Congrats and Good Luck to all

The hard work is only now starting. Believe in your self, you can do it.

Sorry, I started a thread and hadn't realized this thread was about the Jan. 9 AROTC board. DS status changed to say "scholarship offered"! Very happy & best of luck to all who are waiting to hear!

There were so many theories as to how they posted the results last year I lost count. There doesn't seem to be a method to the madness, the results just seem to come out random.

Good luck

DD status also changed to scholarship!!! Now anxiously awaiting to find out where. She only put down a small private university and one in state university that she has no intention of attending.

I hope that works out for you. My son did the same thing and was offered the in state school. He applied there and was accepted but it was his last choice. We'll try to request a transfer but I really don't hold out much hope for that!

Congratulation to your daughter.

Wish her the best of luck in school selection, if the trend continues there's a good chance the scholarship will be for the State School, let's hope she is one of the exceptions and gets her wish.

Congrats and best of luck

In the past there was a chance that you could trade a 4 year at a State School for a 3 year AD to a more expensive Private. I have seen posted by a couple ROO's that it may not be that easy this year. One thing to remember is that a 3 year AD is not gauranteed until the cadet contracts their sophomore year, a lot can happen in that first year.

Best of luck and again congrats to your son.

Status just changed about thirty minutes ago to "you have been offered an army ROTC scholarship." SO pumped! Hopefully to the school I want! We will see! Congrats to everyone seeing results and try not to fret those of you who haven't. It seems this is the first day they are updating statuses and remember that the January and March board will offer more scholarships than the first one in October.

Status just updated (literally 5 minutes ago) awarding a scholarship. good luck to everyone!

Congratulations everyone please post your stats in the designated thread. I'm interested to see what the applicant pool looks like this time around.
