Accepting Appointment?

I tried to dig on this site, and I could not find the answer..

I just received my formal appointment in the mail today (the nice black folder with a letter and certificate)

Also enclosed was a small postcard to accept your appointment. My question is this: Do I need to accept my appointment now, in order to receive information for appointees, etc? Or, can I wait until final decisions for other academies are made prior to mailing in that form? When is the final deadline to accept?

I am very grateful for the opportunity to attend such an institution, and I also am extremely grateful for the support on this site. Thank you.

The deadline to accept is May 1.
There is nothing wrong with waiting until you have all your options in front of you and taking the time to make the decision that is right for you.
Since you have been offered an appointment, you should keep checking your portal for the 'Instructions for Candidates Offered Admission'.

The document in that link is very dated with inaccurate information and therefore misleading.
For current admissions info, refer to the Admissions Web page: http://admissions.usma.edu/

The March 21 date in that document was the date given for file completion (which is NOT the file completion date now) and not the date of when to accept an appointment, which was the OP's question.
