Semester Grades Update

Can anybody please tell me how long it takes for admissions to change the 6 to a 7 on the semesters received? My guidance counselor had them sent out on the 16th. I checked with my RC on the 22nd asking if he received them and he told me that when it changes to a 7 then they have been received. Does it usually take this long? I know this is a busy time for admissions, and I am curious if I should ask again. Thank you:smile:
 
This happened to my son - his school mailed on the 17th. He emailed his team on Friday asking if he should send another copy. They said to fax it, and the school did it today. The number changed to 7 in less than 2 hours. I would try to get the fax number of your region by calling first thing (I think it might be on the portal under "contact us" ?) and then make a beeline for the counselor's office asap.
 
I'm pretty sure you have to have the school fax it because it has to be an "official transcript", just like they have to be the ones to mail it
 
The deadline is today, the 28th! Do not leave it to chance! If you have to, go in personally and watch the guidance counselor fax it - then so be it! We had a guidance counselor that was very lax in doing things like this. They are very busy with other students and their college applications that your request may get put in the pile of "things to do when I have time" - which translates into "sometime in March"!
 
I'm with VonFritz.....go to the guidance office today and WITNESS your transcript being faxed. West Point is NOT kidding when they give you a deadline.
 
Just found out that admissions didn't get DS college transcripts even after asking for a few weeks and leaving message for the admissions team... Faxed them again today but it's a day late...So upset....
 
Who told you that ? We got an email from our RC that said that the deadline was today. If you didnt talk to your RC- i would call them right now!
 
DS tried to call but they closed at 430. We faxed them again 45 min ago and then sent an email for the 5th time stating that the transcripts did not show up in his portal and that we keep faxing them. DS is going to try to call again tomarrow. It's frustrating becaus she recd the nomination back in Dec, and it showed up yesterday after his liaisons got involved.
 
CALL your RC tomorrow first thing. It's not like you just remembered at the last minute to send them in. Explain the whole story. Maybe they will count it as in today since it is dated today even though after hours.
