Does USAFA request 1st semester college transcripts from every candidate that applies?

Did they ask for yours? DS was not asked and there is nothing on his portal saying to send them in.

Page 12 of the Instructions to Appointee pdf has the following regarding high school and college transcripts.....

High School Transcript

If you are still in high school, you must ask your school to
send a graduation transcript of your final grades to HQ
USAFA/RRS, 2304 Cadet Drive, Suite 2400, USAF Academy
CO 80840-5025, as soon as possible.

College Transcripts

If you are enrolled in college courses, you must make
arrangements with the college to forward a final transcript to
HQ USAFA/RRS, 2304 Cadet Drive, Suite 2400, USAF
Academy CO 80840-5025. The transcript must reflect your
final grades for the courses in which you are presently
enrolled and status at the time of your departure.
Transcripts must arrive at the Academy by 14 June 2012,
so final determination can be made regarding your admission
eligibility. These same transcripts are then reviewed by
faculty members for awarding transfer credit. Also, if you
attended college while in high school, you must make sure a
final college transcript arrives at the Academy by 14 June
2012.

Be sure to pay for any transcript fee charged by the college
since nonpayment may delay the forwarding of your record. If
you have attended more than one college, make certain that
one final transcript from each college is sent to the
Academy.

We've sent in 3 semesters of Dual Enrollment grades so far - it apparently made a difference because my son's counselor held up his package for the very first board until she had the official transcripts in his record.
