DS has already accepted a 4-yr AROTC Scholarship, but that doesn't prevent us both from checking every day on the NROTC status page....probably just a pride thing at this point. But to answer your question - his page says the same as yours "No decision...."

I hurried to get my application in by October as well.. and of course I still have the dreaded "no decision" message. My NJROTC commander calls the city recruiting office typically once a week and they said Pensacola rarely gives them information on board and decision dates. I went ahead and accepted my offer to my first choice school since waiting until the last minute would give me very limited opportunities to pick classes/parking/etc. I'm gambling that even if I get a scholarship I get it at my first choice school. If not..c'est la vie. I'd rather have an answer either way though!

Well at least we know there's other applicants who haven't heard back yet. I just find it odd that some kids finished their applications after us and already heard back.

Judging from how long it took them to process and post the January board results, I'd guess that the February boards will be posted any time now. Take it with a grain of salt, but I've got a feeling that for better or for worse, a bunch of us will have our decisions back before the end of next week.

Still waiting here.....I am pretty sure the NROTC program has been eliminated. Hard to find proof that they exist, other than a few people that got early notices back in the Fall. I know the Naval Academy still exists, because I can see it from the end of my street!

I received my scholarship, but never recieved the school I got accepted to. Then I contact the scholarship information line, and they suggest for me to call my number one school. I called them, and they said I was accepted to that school.

Congratulations!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!:shake: Great news witchydesormo!!! When did you receive the scholarship and how were you first notified - status page change or phone call or letter or e-mail?! How exciting for you - best wishes!!!

I know that yesterday, a few people got the dreaded "we're sorry" messge on the status page, but has anyone gotten an update yet saying that you've been awarded the scholarship? My status page still reads, "no decision", so I can only hope that's a good thing.

DS is off from school today and he just checked his status..."no decision..."

I got mine!

I received mine at the beginning of January. I'm waiting for it to be official, I need to pass another asthma test. This whole DODMERB situation may put a damper on my plans.

I was told NROTC selection process is behind

According the the recruiter I spoke with in our area, they haven't had a selection in their district since January. He inquired and was told that the selection process is a tad bit behind and results weren't even out for the February boards yet. He hoped to see some more selections by the end of last week or this week. He was also told that notifications could go as late as May. I guess no news is better news than not selected, but the waiting game is not for those who lack patience (of which I'm one ).

This is kind of what I'd figured, but it's nice to have some verification. Thanks for the info!

No news yet for me either. Web site still says no decision. I live in NC and applied back in October.

Just saw the following on the NROTC status page - could this be the reason all things NAVY have been completely silent the last couple days????

"The Naval Education and Training Command domain will participate in Exercise Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield 2012, an anti-terrorism/force protection exercise conducted on all continental United States Naval installations, March 19 - 24, 2012. As part of this exercise, normal operations may be impacted, limiting communications with our offices and delaying responses to public inquiries. We appreciate your patience and will respond to all requests and inquiries as soon as possible."

Sounds like backpedaling to me...

This is for real -
Bethesda has been warning patients and visitors to avoid them certain days and name of operation was what poster had.
