In the dark ages
the AD AF had a system where the command racked and stacked before submitting to a promotion/PME board, but I thought they did a way with that system yrs ago.
It will be interesting to see if they do "nom" now, compared to you are a 200 and will meet the board with my rec being part of the WCS for selection.
If I am correct, and NROTC parents lurking here, can give a definitive answer that is similar to their Programmer process.
It seems to me that the branches are starting to blend more, taking what works for another branch and implementing in their branch.
Curiosity, did your det nom 100%? How are they handling this issue if they didn't nom 100%, because the rule has been no SFT = no POC, and you can be either dis-enrolled or become a 500.
How are they working that if they only nom'd 50% regarding who is dis-enrolled or 500?
If they nom'd only 75%, did cadets drop AFROTC C200 like flies for spring semester?
I don't get from a motivation standpoint, why any cadet would stay if they know that SFT is not in their future.
500's in the AD world from a promotion purpose would be considered APZ, and odds are long shot for APZ.
