Looks like the offers are starting to be posted. I see one posted for Clarkson, so commence to obsessively check your status hourly for the next two weeks until we get the word that all the offer letter have been sent.

I can smell the smoke coming from the Status Page Site already.

Good luck everyone.

May god have mercy on your souls

Also, good luck :thumb:

somebody should post the URL to the status page. I'm sure some applicants aren't aware of it.

Do you have any idea how late into the night they would be posting? I wonder if they didn't start until later in the day.

The ROO's may be seeing results from a different source, I would imagine the status page will start changing by early morning.

Best wishes out to all of the applicants(and families)waiting for the status changes to post. Will be checking in to hear all the good news -and offer support to those who don't get the desired answer. The path to officer is filled with twist and turns, so as we say around here, hold on tight, the ride is just beginning:thumb:

Congratulations to all who are given a scholarship, it is truly an honor given the current situation. To those who will not recieve a scholarship, do not give up. If it is truly your dream, you can find a way to a commission.

Best of luck to all :thumb: The real work still lies ahead.

Do the schools find out before the status page updates? Would it be worthwhile to contact the school for status or is it pretty much simultaneous?

Thanks

They do find out earlier, but it would be a waste of energy to contact them because they are told an "official" release date. They may know the results, but they will not tell you until it is the official date.

Best to watch the boards here because they will light up like a Xmas tree. Once the 1st poster says yeah or nay, everyone will start checking their own portals.

They usually come out in bulk than a few drips and drabs after that.

There is an eerie silence on this thread.

Gives new meaning to the word Antici........pation!

Good luck everyone, hang in there.

I'm glad! Misery loves company? Sorry. But if no one else is reporting a change, at least I find comfort knowing he has not been passed over for sure, since his page has still not changed!

Sadly, I feel the same...

I know it's no lock but I look it as a positive that they already had us complete the DoDMERB process. I just can't believe that they would want to spend that $$ if they didn't have to. At least that's how I keep positive. I know they never did that when my daughter went thru the process.

I also take a little solace in the fact that the ROO from my son's #1 school choice still calls to check in.

laxmom8, I'm with you as I find the silence to be some what reassuring. Don't get me wrong, I do wish this sight was just exploding with activity of all the good news of awards. I also know full well that the wait could continue deep into May as time will be required to allow for the responses from the 3rd board, and any releases/awards (if any) after that. We may not fully know until the letter arrives or we have confirmation from the ROO at the school.

It remains a tough waiting game.

Best of luck to all.

Email this morning says don't expect anything until thursday of this week. That is when the expect to have finalized posting offers. The offers are going up, but they are making changes, and the email was very emphatic that until the letters go out nothing is official. The original email was from MG McDonald, the Commander of CC. It indicated his awareness of pending college decisions and the need to have offers out by the end of this week. I would expect statuses to change middle of next week and letters to arrive sometime after that. If you have been told you have an offer from the third board, there is a chance that that information could change, so be patient.

Thanks for the info! But I'm confused about a couple of things. When you say "offers are going up," exactly what does that mean? And when you say "offers out by the end of this week," are you talking about schools getting notified since you talk about statuses changing next week?

Sorry, I guess I don't understand enough of how the process works. :frown:

Need help understanding the process. I understand that a scholarship transfer almost requires divine intervention. There is hope in that it's an expensive school to an out of state SMC. Are transfer decisions made on this third board? Is the transfer process separate from the "boards"? DS is staying busy and focused. Personally, I'm pulling my hair out waiting.
