A C3C was killed in a car accident recently. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. There were 2 other cadets in the car with him. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers as well.

Loss

Thoughts and prayers especially during this Easter weekend. It is so sad when we lose those that serve. We hold the family in our thoughts

Any more info, link, source?

It has been on the USAFA parents facebook page for the last 5 hours. No link as yet. Apparently it happened last night. 1 cadet was killed instantly, 1 in fair condition and the other released last night. All of this is from texts parents have received from their cadets. Am calling my cadet now.

Just off the phone with DS. He confirms 1 cadet has passed away. They will have a recall formation tomorrow where they will be briefed with further information.

Isn't this the second cadet this schoil year to die in a car accident? My thoughts are with everyone involved.

My thoughts and prayers go to all the families and to the Academy family, as well.

May Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, hold all of those concerned in the palm of his hand.

Prayers for all three families, friends and cadets

Our prayers will be with the families, friends and fellow cadets of all of the people involved in this horrible accident. May Our Lord be with them all as everyone is grieving this loss.
Our prayers will continue for them all.

The Lord has risen today, defeating death. Our prayers and condolences go out to those involved and those connected with them.

He was one of my best friends here. Worst Easter ever. Amazing brother that I will never forget.

This really hits home for me. I know one of the cadets from when he was in high school, genuinely one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Really praying for everyone involved-I can't imagine what they're going through.

It was just officially released. C3C Peter Quick, CS-10. Taps Vigil tonight, Memorial later this week and myself and 5 others will be escorting the body home shortly after. Here's a toast brother...

My prayers go out to the family of Cadet Quick, and to all who knew him and mourn his loss. So much we can't understand - My Our Lord comfort all who loved him.

Rando Fund

Sympathy and prayers for the family and friends (bsao7eagle) of Cadet Q. The loss of a young man with such a bright future is always hard to process for those who knew him and even for those of us who did not.

I plan to make a donation to the Rando Fund at USAFA. If anyone else feels so inclined the information can be found here:
